This two-hour clinic combines a guided session on Sven, the horse simulator, with a mounted session on your own horse. The aim is to develop greater awareness of how your posture, balance and movement may influence your riding and communication with your horse.

First Hour: Assessment & Awareness

Both riders will take part in the simulator session together, taking turns to work individually on Sven while also learning through observation and discussion.

Through guided exercises and feedback, you will explore:

  • Where your weight is distributed in the saddle

  • How changes in posture can affect your balance and stability

  • How clearly and intentionally you can shift your weight

  • The use of your seat aid during turns and changes of direction

  • Your ability to remain centred while following the horse’s movement

  • Individual patterns that may be influencing your position and effectiveness

The aim is to help you develop a clearer understanding of your position and seat aid while identifying areas to focus on during the mounted session.

Second Hour: Application

You will then tack up and ride your own horse in a shared session with Marcel. The awareness and observations developed on Sven will be applied directly to your riding through tailored exercises and selected learning aids.

The mounted session will focus on helping you use your posture and seat aid more clearly while improving your balance, stability and overall effectiveness in the saddle.

With a maximum of two riders per group, the clinic provides individual attention, practical feedback and useful exercises to continue working on after the session.
